MACHINERY INSTALLATION AND RELOCATION

Industrial Machinery Installation and Relocation

NMS installs new industrial machinery and moves existing equipment within a plant or from one facility to another.

Major horizontal boring machine assembly secured for controlled lifting and removal.

Equipment Moves and New Installations

NMS handles the shutdown, disconnection, disassembly, movement, packing, loading, reassembly, and mechanical installation of industrial equipment. PLC and controls work can also be included.

  • New machinery installation
  • In-plant equipment moves
  • Moves between facilities
  • Controlled shutdown and disconnection
  • Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic connection labeling
  • Machine disassembly
  • Packing and protection for transit
  • Loading and unloading
  • Reassembly and reconnection
  • PLC and controls work
  • Anchoring and startup

Documented Before Disassembly

Before a machine comes apart, NMS labels the electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical connections and catalogs the removed parts. That information stays with the machine for reassembly.

Prepared for the Move

NMS separates the machine into transportable assemblies, protects exposed connections and components, packs the equipment, and loads it for shipment.

Installation at the New Location

NMS positions and assembles the machinery, reconnects mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC, and control systems, anchors the equipment, and supports startup.

RELOCATION PROJECT

Large Horizontal Boring Machine Relocation

A large horizontal boring machine was being underused at a facility in York, Pennsylvania. NMS coordinated its controlled shutdown, labeled the electrical and hydraulic connections, disassembled the machine, packed the components, and loaded them onto flatbed trucks for shipment to a sister plant in Canada.

Machinery Projects Near and Far

NMS handles equipment moves and installations near York and travels outside its normal weekly service area for specific projects.

Planning an Equipment Move or Installation?

Call NMS or send the machine type, current location, destination, and schedule through the project form. If photos, drawings, manuals, or other files are needed, NMS will reply with instructions for sending them by email or through a secure upload.

If you reach voicemail, leave your name, company, callback number, facility location, and a brief description of the equipment and proposed move.
